Please note your booking will remain ineligible for a full refund and Lucky Voice will retain the full amount paid towards your booking.

c) Room Capacities and Minimum Numbers

  • Each room has a maximum capacity which will be enforced. Extra guests will be permitted entry to the bar, if space allows. If you continually exceed the maximum amount of people allocated to your room, you may be asked to leave prior to your finishing time and charged in full for your room hire and drinks bill.
  • Please note private karaoke rooms vary in size from 2 to 30 people depending on venue. We accommodate duets and trios from Sunday through to Wednesday. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays we ask that all bookings are for quartets as a minimum, due to the size of the rooms.
  • Lucky Voice karaoke rooms are booked for a specified head count and allocated according to capacity. If your party size decreases you will still need to pay for the number agreed upon when booking. Should your party size increase, a per person per hour cost will be added.
  • For a change in booking size, Lucky Voice will try their best to accommodate a room for you if you enquire in advance, however this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please note this may mean a price increase will be enforced for any extra guests.

d) Prices

  • A standard karaoke booking in a private room is set at 2 hours. Prices are available on our website or by contacting Lucky Voice. Prices for other types of bookings including venue hire are available on request.
  • The price of one hour will be the rate at the start time of each individual hour. Should there be a crossover with peak and off peak times you will be charged one hour at the off peak rate and one hour at the peak rate.
  • Please note pre booked karaoke room prices differ from walk in karaoke room hire prices.
  • On Bank Holiday Sundays we operate Saturday prices and peak times.

e) Table bookings:

  • You can pre book a space or table in our bar area at Lucky Voice Liverpool Street, Holborn, Islington and Brighton only.
  • We may require a deposit or minimum spend depending on the day and time of your booking, this is redeemable towards food and drinks on the day.
  • All table/ area bookings are a base for your party and include a mix of seated and standing space.

1.2) Additional Terms for Exclusive and Semi-Exclusive Hire Bookings:

a) Contract & Confirmation

  • Bookings of 30+ guests, Exclusive and Semi-Exclusive Hire (and other events deemed necessary by Lucky Voice) require a booking contract signed by both the client and Lucky Voice.
  • Once the contract is signed and returned your booking will be held on first pencil, this means that your booking is provisionally held until your first payment is made. Once paid, your booking will be confirmed and your chosen time, date and space will be secured.
  • If we do not receive a signed contract and payment in 7 days or by the agreed deadline, your booking date and time cannot be guaranteed.

b) Payment Schedule

  • We require a minimum of 50% deposit to confirm your event.
  • If paying a deposit, final payments are due no later than 30 days prior to the booking date.
  • Additional charges such as extra guests, bar tabs or entertainment must be paid in full in advance of the booking date.
  • Where a booking has a referral fee (commission) from a third party, this will be paid on the net contracted value of the booking after the event has taken place and all final event payments have been received by us, unless agreed otherwise in writing by Lucky Voice.
  • Payment of referral fees (commission) will include the total amount for karaoke or venue hire, food, drinks and packages. No payment will be made on service charge, AV, entertainment or other outsourced services.

c) Hire Charges & Minimum Spends

  • The contracted amount must be paid for in total, including venue hire fee and minimum food & drinks spend, where applicable.
  • Hire fees cannot be converted to minimum spends or bar tabs. Where a booking has a minimum spend and it is not met on the date of the event, it cannot be exchanged for food or drinks to take off the premises or used as credit for a future event.
  • Additional food and drinks can be ordered on the date of the event, subject to availability, and must be paid on the same date. No credit facilities are available.

d) Final details of the event:

  • Food & drinks orders, dietary requirements, event schedule, final numbers and final payment must be provided no later than 30 days prior to the event, unless otherwise agreed by your salesperson.
  • The agreed minimum number of food covers will be the minimum you will be charged and is not transferable. If the number of food covers exceeds the agreed minimum number of food covers, notice must be given to the salesperson for which you will be charged for.
  • Lucky Voice is unable to guarantee any changes on event details made after 30 days prior to the event.
  • Where items of the menu are not available with our suppliers, Lucky Voice will suggest an alternative of the same or superior quality or a refund of any payments made.

e) Filming & Photoshoot bookings:

  • The Main entrance to the venue must be kept both shut and locked at all times when unattended.
  • Any furniture that is moved must be done so in an orderly and considerate manner. Lucky Voice recommends bringing a digital camera to take a picture of the area, where furniture may be moved in order to replace it at its original position.
  • Any furniture stacked upon the banquet seating should be done with the feet pointing up to the ceiling (not down – with feet pointing into the seating)
  • All Fire exits must remain clear at all times
  • All areas should be left in the condition that they were found with all rubbish being disposed of in the bins provided.
  • No one is allowed to go behind the bar due to stock control issues without express authorisation of the manager on duty.
  • All equipment must be packed away and ready to leave the venue by the finish time stated on your contract.
  • Any booking which runs over the stated contract time will be charged per each newly commenced hour at the rate of the lost revenue for that period, including compensation of existing bookings.
  • Removal of equipment from the premises, once the venue is open to the public, will be at the discretion of the manager on duty.
  • The use of the Lucky Voice brand and logo must be approved by us prior to filming.
  • Lucky Voice reserves the right to object to any subject that is being interviewed or photographed as part of the agreement. Please inform us in advance of the nature of the shoot.
  • Venue staff have access to all areas of the building during the booking period although they will endeavour to cause minimal disruption.
  • In the event of the production team requiring to switch power to fridges off, authorisation needs to be obtained prior to the date. It is their responsibility to switch them back on in-between shoots to avoid stock not remaining chilled / cooled. This is highly not recommended by Health & Safety regulations to have any fridge switch off more than 2 hours. All food staying in a refrigerator switched off for more than 2 hours would have to be discarded due to potential contamination and replaced at the production team cost.
  • The use of haze or smoke will activate the smoke detectors and is advised against. An engineer can be booked to be on call to manually deactivate the equipment on each occasion it switches on, at the production team cost.
  • The production company agrees to supply the venue with a copy of the final edited programme / photographs, for their portfolio.
  • Any prop alcohol or glassware may be used at the discretion of the manager on duty or their on site representative only. Should any bottles be opened they need to be paid at the menu price and are subject to a 12.5% service charge, but may not be consumed on the premises while the venue is closed to the public.

b) From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our website or application, or our entire website or application, to users who have registered with us.

c) If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

d) When using our website or application, you must comply with the provisions of our acceptable use policy:

Monitoring and Performance

We may monitor usage, including without limitation, any content (including content usage levels by individual users) or material transmitted over the Service. We reserve the right (at our sole discretion) to monitor and control data volume.

In the event that your use of the Broadband Service

  • risks degradation of service levels to other customers,

  • does not comply with these Terms and Conditions (including the Acceptable Use Policy),

we reserve the right (at our sole discretion) to reduce, suspend or terminate your service.

Your use of our site means that you accept, and agree to abide by, all the policies in this acceptable use policy, which supplement our terms of website use.

luckyvoice.com and all associated subdomains is a site operated by Lucky Voice Soho Limited (we or us). We are registered in England and Wales.

a) You may not use our site:

  1. Ethical marketing policies

Absolute honesty and transparency. These are two things we fully commit to in running the Lucky Voice business and communicating with our customers.

We strive to be ethical marketers. Most importantly, this means making sure our marketing campaigns clearly and adequately depict the Lucky Voice bar experience, showing the value and fun it represents without exaggerating our product or misleading our customers.

We commit to honest content creation, producing videos, photos, digital designs and blogs that aim to showcase the Lucky Voice experience in a true way that aligns with our positioning as  ‘the place to let go’. In all campaign creative we commit to cultural sensitivity ensuring we are inclusive of all races, genders, sexualities, and walks of life.

Alongside honest representation, ethical marketing means being upfront in all aspects of communication. We ensure that all information (booking terms, costs, offers, events, menu ingredients and sourcing) is clearly accessible from every touchpoint – be it our website, printed materials, booking forms, or partnerships.

Our email marketing is permission-based, meaning any newsletters or e-shots will only be received by customers who have chosen to opt in to communications.  This can be done by either checking this box during a booking or guest WIFI login process, signing up via our newsletter section on the blog page of our website, or requesting to be added to the database by a member of the Lucky Voice team. Prioritising customer satisfaction is important to us, so we look to stimulate an engaged audience. Should a customer decide they no longer wish to receive marketing communications, we make the unsubscribe process easy and clear – simply clicking the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of our emails, or by emailing us at hello@luckvyoice.com or giving us a ring on  020 7439 3660 and requesting this directly with a member of the team).

We also commit to being GDPR compliant – no email or related data will ever be shared publicly or passed on to third parties. Anyone who opts out of email marketing is added straight to a suppression list meaning they cannot be contacted again. For full information on GDPR please click here.

Similarly, we value ethical SEO and social media growth and do not purchase links, followers or likes. We believe communities should be built organically via content marketing,  partnerships and targeted ads to both current and potential customers. We are excited by and believe in the marketing material we put out, and want for our customers to feel the same.

We commit to update all of the above practises as the industry evolves and the Lucky Voice business grows by checking in on campaigns quarterly and ensuring these meet our ethical marketing practises checklist which includes the points listed.

For any further questions or feedback relating to our ethical marketing policies please email olivia@luckyvoice.com or give us a ring on 020 7439 3660.
