Please take your time to carefully read the terms and conditions as it is important for the both of us that you understand our contractual relationship that relates to your use of our website, our application and the services we provide you.

  1. Specific Terms relating to the use of Lucky Voice premises

A) Lucky Voice Soho, Islington, Brighton and Holborn 

Booking terms and conditions:

a) We require 50% down payment of your total room cost when booking online or on the phone for Lucky Voice Soho, Islington and Brighton and 100% payment upfront for Lucky Voice Holborn. For multiple room bookings, kids’ parties and cocktail masterclasses at all venues, we require 100% payment. 100% of your total room cost is also required when booking on the same day of your visit and during the Christmas period (25th Nov – 31st Dec) :

  • You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel before 72 hours of the booking.
  • If you give us less than 72 hours notice Lucky Voice will retain the full deposit.
  • For bookings of 30+ guests or full venue hire bookings we require 30 days notice for cancellation in order to process a full refund.
  • Considering individual circumstances, Lucky Voice will use its discretion to accept cancellations outside the window times listed above.
  • Lucky Voice karaoke rooms are booked for a specified head count and allocated according to capacity. If your party size decreases you will still need to pay for the number agreed upon when booking. Should your party size increase a per person per hour cost will be added.
  • For a change in booking size, Lucky Voice will try their best to accommodate a room for you if you enquire in advance, however this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Please note this may mean a price increase will be enforced for any extra guests.
  • On arrival, we will ask for one member of the group’s valid credit or debit card which will be kept safe at reception to ensure payment is taken at the end of your sing when your drinks bill arrives, or to cover any damages that occur to the karaoke equipment or Lucky Voice furnishings during your visit. Please note, it is your responsibility to collect your card from us.
  • Please note pre booked karaoke room prices differ from walk in karaoke room hire prices. For more information on walk in prices, please email hello@luckyvoice.com.

b) We prefer you to call us by telephone if you need to cancel; cancellation requests left at a voicemail box cannot be guaranteed. Alternatively, please email your cancellation request at hello@luckyvoice.com, stating the person’s name by whom the booking was made booking venue, booking date and booking time.

c) Each room has a maximum capacity which will be enforced. Extra guests will be permitted entry to the bar, if space allows. If you continually exceed the maximum amount of people allocated to you room, you may be asked to leave prior to your finishing time and charged in full for your room hire and drinks bill.

d) The price of one hour will be the rate at the start time of each individual hour. (Should there be a crossover with peak and off peak times you will be charged one hour at the off peak rate and one hour at the peak rate).

e) Your booked arrival time is the time from which you are charged. Please arrive early to make sure you get the full amount of time you have paid for. You can loosen your vocal cords with some drinks in our bar if you wish beforehand. We do try to allow a grace period of 5 – 10 minutes. You will be expected to leave your room after your booking time slot has ended, however the bar remains open and you will be able to make use of this afterwards! Please note, last entry to our Soho venue (including the bar area) is 1am, so you will be able to enjoy drinks at the bar if your sing finishes before this time.

f) We reserve the right to resell your room if you fail to show up even after 30 minutes past the starting time of your booked session, and may forfeit the paid deposit without refund. If you think you’ are going to be late – please give us a call and let us know!

g) Please note that we operate a smart casual dress code. Sportswear is not permitted in any of our venues.

h) Lucky Voice Soho: We do not permit anyone under the age of 21 into the venue. We accept photo IDs in the form of passports, full UK driving licence or ID cards (with the exception of children’s parties -please see below for more details).

i) Lucky Voice reserves the right to deny entry  to any of our bars, or serve alcohol to anyone deemed to be intoxicated.

Lucky Voice Islington, Lucky Voice Holborn and Lucky Voice Brighton: We do not permit anyone under the age of 18 into the venue. We accept photo IDs in the form of passports, full UK driving licence or ID cards (with the exception of children’s parties -please see below for more details).

j) Lucky Voice Soho, Lucky Voice Holborn and Lucky Voice Islington: We have a minimum drinks spend of £10 per person after 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights, which is applicable to all room bookings and based on the capacity of the room booked (with the exception of children’s parties -please see below for more details). During our Christmas period (28th November – 23rd December and 31st December) we have a minimum drinks spend of £20 per person at Soho  and £15 per person at Islington after 6pm Thurs – Sat. Please note that this may increase for bookings longer than 2 hours. 

Lucky Voice Brighton: There is no minimum drinks spend. 

k) We kindly ask that you do not bring your own drinks or food to Lucky Voice. Any alcohol brought in by you and found will be taken away.

l) A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill.

m) Any photos taken on Lucky Voice premises will be owned by Lucky Voice, used for their own promotional purposes.

n) You will be liable for any damage made to the equipment(s) in Lucky Voice, and need to pay for them in full on spot for on the night: this can include microphones valued at £450 each, TVs valued at £400 each, touchscreens valued at £400 and any marks made on the seating by high heels up to the value of £50. You may also incur a cleaning charge if any unnecessary mess is made in our premises by you or your group.

o) Lucky Voice Soho and Lucky Voice Holborn: Please note that we do not have wheelchair access at these venues. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We do however have wheelchair access at Lucky Voice Islington and Lucky Voice Brighton venues.

Lucky Voice Holborn:

p) The Lucky Voice venues are not responsible  for  any personal items or that are lost or stolen, or left unattended within our venues.

q) Please note under no circumstances will customers be permitted to bring their own alcohol or soft drinks into any Lucky Voice venues. If you are found on any alcohol or soft drinks on you, security has the right to confiscate these items.

Lucky Voice Soho, Holborn, Islington and Brighton

r) We do not allow strippers in the venues (bar or private karaoke rooms) under any circumstances.

 

Venue opening hours

Our opening hours are stated on each individual venue page on our website, however please note management reserves the right to close the venue prior to these times without warning. If the venue needs to shut prior to the set closing times and any paid for bookings are in place, the lead booker will be contacted immediately and either offered full refund, or have their booking moved to an alternative date of their choice.

 

Complimentary room hire

In the event of a reservation where complimentary room hire has been offered, a deposit of £20 will be required for groups of 4-8 persons, and a £40 deposit for groups of 9 persons and above. This deposit is redeemable against drinks purchased up to the value of the deposit but the leftover balance, if any, will not be returned.

Golden Ticket Holder terms and conditions

Lucky Voice Brighton: Ticket holders are entitled to two hours singing for themselves and the stated number of guests on Sunday – Friday.

Lucky Voice Soho and Lucky Voice Islington: Ticket holders are entitled to two hours singing for free for themselves and the stated number of guests on Sunday – Thursday.

Lucky Voice Holborn: Ticket holders are entitled to two hours singing for free for themselves and the stated number of guests on Sunday – Tuesday.

A deposit of £20 will be required for groups of 4-8 persons, and a £40 deposit for groups of 9 persons and above. This deposit is redeemable against drinks purchased up to the value of the deposit, but the leftover balance, if any, will not be returned (i.e. as change). The deposit is non-redeemable during the period from the last Sunday of November to 31st December due to the busy Christmas period. Golden Tickets must be used before the expiry date given. 

Complimentary Freachly bookings

These bookings are valid in our Holborn venue only. Each offer is based on your Instagram following and not on behalf of someone else’s profile. To redeem your offer you must book directly with the Lucky Voice Sale’s team via email (hello@luckyvoice.com). You must give notice, walk in bookings are not valid. Bookings are not valid during our Christmas period. Maximum group size of 8 people and all guests must be 18+.

To secure the booking we require authentication of a debit/credit card for £5 per person. We do not charge your card to book, we simply take the information in case of a no show and/or failure to cancel before our 72 hour cancellation period.

All bookings are subject to availability.

Lucky Voice Promotion terms and conditions

Personal identification must be given at the time of the booking and shown at the venue on the night to qualify for each promotion. All offers advertised by Lucky Voice are subject to availability.
Promotion offers are only valid for new bookings and cannot be added to an existing booking. A customer is not entitled to cancel an existing booking to re-book using a promotion or offer. Only one promotion can be used at a time, other promotions and offers cannot be clubbed together and used in conjunction. For promotions the customer is only entitled to what is stated in the offer.
Promotions offering free or discounted room hire are exclusive of the cost of drinks.
Neighbours Night requires proof of postcode, the free round of shots require proof of birth date, and Worthy Workers requires proof of workplace for the booker only. All promotions and offers are only valid on 2 hour bookings. 

 

Worthy Workers:

  • The booker must state that they would like to use the WORTHY WORKERS offer when booking.
  • Proof of workplace will be needed on arrival, only the booker needs to provide this.
  • Offer is valid on Sunday and Monday at Lucky Voice Soho, Lucky Voice Holborn and Islington, and Sunday to Tuesday at Lucky Voice Brighton. 
  • Between the last Sunday of November and 31st December, the Worthy Workers offer will be valid only on Sundays at our Soho venue and Mondays at Lucky Voice Islington and there will be a minimum of £40 deposit regardless of the group size. Lucky Voice Brighton will continue the offer throughout the year.
  • Lucky Voice Soho and Brighton a deposit of £40 will be required for groups of 4-6 singers, a £60 deposit for groups of 7-12 and a deposit of £80 of groups of 13 – 15 singers.
  • Lucky Voice Islington a deposit of £40 will be required for groups of 4-6 singers, a £60 deposit for groups of 7-12 and a deposit of £80 of groups of 13 – 17 singers.
  • Lucky Voice Holborn a deposit of £50 will be required for groups of up to 6, £70 deposit for groups between 7-10, £90 deposit for groups between 11-15 and £120 deposit for groups of 16+.
  • The deposit is redeemable against drinks purchased up to the value of the deposit but the leftover balance, if any, will not be returned .
  • The offer will be valid for a maximum of 2 hours, any additional hours after that will have to be paid at full price.
  • Last booking will be valid at 5pm for 2 hours on a Bank Holiday Sunday.

 

Singdustry:

  • The booker must state they are would like to use the SINGDUSTRY offer when booking.
  • Proof of workplace will be needed on arrival, to qualify for which the booker must be working in the hospitality sector.
  • Lucky Voice Soho, Islington and Brighton a deposit of £40 will be required regardless of the group size. The deposit is redeemable against drinks and food purchased up to the value of the deposit, but the leftover balance, if any, will not be returned.
  • Lucky Voice Soho and Brighton a deposit of £40 will be required for groups of 4-6 singers, a £60 deposit for groups of 7-12 and a deposit of £80 of groups of 13 – 15 singers.
  • Lucky Voice Islington a deposit of £40 will be required for groups of 4-6 singers, a £60 deposit for groups of 7-12 and a deposit of £80 of groups of 13 – 17 singers.
  • Lucky Voice Holborn a £50 deposit required for groups of up to 6, £70 deposit for groups between 7-10, £90 deposit for groups between 11-15 and £120 deposit for groups of 16+. The deposit is redeemable against drinks and food purchased up to the value of the deposit, but the leftover balance, if any, will not be returned.
  • The offer will be valid only for new bookings and not existing bookings. Existing bookings cannot be cancelled and re-booked to avail this offer.
  • Offer is available from Sunday – Tuesday in Holborn, Islington, Soho and Brighton.
  • Between the last Sunday of November and 31st December, the Singdustry offer will be valid only on Sundays at our Soho venue and Mondays at Lucky Voice Islington.  There will be a minimum of £60 deposit regardless of the group size. Lucky Voice Brighton will continue the offer throughout the year.
  • The offer will be valid for a maximum of 2 hours, and any additional hours are after that will have to be paid at full price.
  • Last booking will be valid at 5pm for 2 hours on a Bank Holiday Sunday.

 

Student Night:

  • The booker must state they would like to use the STUDENT NIGHT offer when booking to qualify. Student ID must be shown on arrival.
  • This offer is only valid on Wednesdays at Lucky Voice Brighton and Sunday – Tuesday at Lucky Voice Islington.
  • If booking in advance, a deposit of £40 will be taken for groups of 4-6, £60 for groups of 7-12 and £80 of 13+ singers and above. This is only redeemable against drinks and food.
  • Offer is only valid for new bookings and not existing bookings. Existing bookings cannot be cancelled and re-booked for this offer.

 

Neighbours Night/Half Price Thursday:

  • The booker must state he would like to use the NEIGHBOURS NIGHT (for Islington, Soho and Holborn) or HALF PRICE THURSDAY (for Brighton) offer when making the booking and payment for room hire must also be made at this point.
  • This offer is only valid on Wednesdays at Lucky Voice Soho and Islington. This offer is only valid on Thursday in Brighton. This offer is only valid on Tuesdays at Lucky Voice Holborn.
  • The offer of 50% off on room hire applies to the first 2 hours of room hire only. Customers wanting to stay longer that this will have to pay the full room hire price as advertised.
  • A minimum of 2 hours must be booked in order to claim the 50% discount.
  • Proof of postcode is required on arrival, for Lucky Voice Soho a W1 postcode,for  Lucky Voice Islington an N1-N19 postcode, For Lucky Voice Holborn a WC will be valid only.
  • Due to Christmas parties this offer is not valid between the last Sunday of November and 31st December.
  • This offer is subject to availability.

 

Facebook Fridays:

  • This offer is valid at Lucky Voice Soho, Islington and Brighton on Fridays.
  • You must ‘check in’ and ‘like’ our Facebook or Instagram page to qualify.
  • You must book for at least 2 hours to receive 1 hour free.
  • Last booking can be made no longer after 8 pm.
  • Offer is not valid between the last Sunday of November and 31st December.

 

Children’s Parties:

  • This offer is valid at Soho, Islington, Holborn and Brighton venues. Dates and times are subject to availability.
  • Children must be aged 11 or over, however for younger parties please contact the venue directly as this is at the discretion of management.
  • Minimum booking will be of 4 children and maximum of 12.
  • Booking for 1 adult is required for every 4 children.

 

2-4-1 menu

  • The 2-4-1 menu is valid in Lucky Voice Islington and Lucky Voice Brighton only.
  • On selected cocktails, beer and wine only.
  • Please note, the 2-4-1 menu does not run during December.

 

Drinks packages:

  • Drinks packages must be booked in advance and cannot be ordered during a sing.
  • Drinks packages must be paid in full before your visit at Lucky Voice Holborn and 50% in advance for Soho, Islington and Brighton, with the remaining 50% on arrival or at Reception when leaving.
  • A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to all packages which is due with the full payment.
  • The stated drinks included in the drinks packages cannot be substituted for alternative beverages or swapped for money off. If an item is out of stock, the venue will offer an equivalent alternative.
  • Prices and availability for drinks packages vary depending on venue, time and day.
  • Drinks packages cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, including the free round of house shots for hen/stag and birthday bookings or discounted room hire.
  • Drinks packages are limited to one type of package per booking.
  • Drinks packages are not valid during our Christmas period (25th Nov – 1st Jan).
  • Packages are subject to availability.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse service in accordance with licensing laws.
Table bookings:
  • You can pre book a space or table in our bar area at our Lucky Voice Holborn only. Please note, our sales team may require a deposit or minimum spend depending on the day and time of your booking.

Bank Holiday Sunday

  • Saturday prices and peak times apply.
  • Worthy Workers and Singdustry last bookings can be made at 5pm for 2 hours.
  • Opening hours vary, please check with the individual venue page or e-mail hello@luckyvoice.com. 

 

Worthy Workers

  • The booker must state that they would like to use the Worthy Workers offer when booking.
  • Proof of workplace will be needed on arrival, only the booker needs to provide this.

COVID-19

Please note all our venues are temporarily closed as of Wednesday 16th December 2020 in London Thursday 24th December 2020 in Brighton until further notice due to recent government guidelines. Further details around reopening safety precautions can be found below;

With the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want to assure you that we are adhering to the strictest possible standards of health and safety as advised by the W.H.O., local and international authorities. Nothing matters more to us than the well-being of our guests and staff, so health and safety is currently the number one priority of the entire company.

All of our employees are fully aware of the current requirements, with daily briefings on any new advice or developments from the W.H.O, and extreme health and safety procedures in place to ensure the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained throughout our venues – from the handling of food and drink, to the cleaning of our bar areas and private karaoke rooms (including equipment such as microphones and touch screens) every day at hourly intervals. All karaoke prop boxes have been removed from our rooms.

Any member of staff returning from the affected areas abroad – or those who have family members or housemates recently returned from these regions – have automatically been asked to self-quarantine for fourteen days. Any employee feeling ill in any way will also be asked to stay off work.

Please rest assured, every precaution that can be taken to ensure our customers can enjoy themselves in a safe environment is being implemented by a dedicated team of experienced hospitality professionals, and we will be following COVID-19 developments on a daily basis with intense scrutiny. Please note that due to government guidelines Lucky Voice will be accepting private karaoke bookings for groups of 6 maximum. Full info about COVID-19 precautions can also be found here.

In regards to bookings, we understand the seriousness of this matter, so if you are uncomfortable attending your booked private karaoke booking, please email hello@luckyvoice.com and our reservations team will be happy to assist.

2.  Voucher Terms

When you purchase or redeem a gift voucher, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

a) Gift vouchers are redeemable only by the bearer and cannot be redeemed on someone else’s behalf.

b) Lucky Voice cannot be responsible for lost or stolen gift vouchers.

c) Gift vouchers are valid for one year from their date of purchase,  after which, they will will automatically expire. Please note, this excludes any bookings for brunch over our Christmas period (last Wed in November – 31st Dec).

d) Gift vouchers must be redeemed once and in one single visit to Lucky Voice. They cannot be spread out across multiple visits.

e) Lucky Voice Islington brunch vouchers can only be redeemed at the Lucky Voice Islington brunch outside the Christmas period (2nd and 4th Saturday of every month) and cannot be used at another venue’s brunch or for another event.

f) Gift vouchers do not carry any monetary value and cannot be exchanged for food, drink or private karaoke room hire.

g) Gift Vouchers may only be redeemed in advance by emailing the sales team at hello@luckyvoice.com, or by calling 020 7354 6280.

h) Bookings are subject to availability.

3.  General Terms

The material displayed on our website and application is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we, other members of our group of companies and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.

Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our website or application, or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our premises or services, including, without limitation any liability for: loss of income or revenue; loss of business; loss of profits or contracts; loss of anticipated savings; loss of data; loss of goodwill; wasted management or office time; and for any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

The English courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, these terms or to a visit to our website or use of our application, although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country. These terms of use are governed by English law.

 

How we use your data

When you book with us, either online, via phone or by visiting one of our bars, we use your personal data (name, email address, contact number) for the purposes of fulfilling the booking. The booking and your information associated with the booking is stored on our booking system Collins, which is created by DesignMyNight. Neither we nor DesignMyNight will use your data for any purposes other than to create the booking. We (Lucky Voice) may contact you regarding any changes and/or important information regarding your booking if necessary, with the purpose of keeping you fully informed.

We will not contact you with marketing emails unless you opt-in and consent to us in doing so. You can do this by ticking the ‘I would like to hear more’ when you make a booking. You are free to unsubscribe at any time. You can do this by either clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ button on the email or by writing to us at hello@luckyvoice.com.

4. Terms relating to website and application use

The following terms apply to your general use of our website and application:

a) Access to our website and use of our application is permitted on an “as is” basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our website or application without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our website or application is unavailable at any time or for any period.

b) From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our website or application, or our entire website or application, to users who have registered with us.

c) If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

d) When using our website or application, you must comply with the provisions of our acceptable use policy:

Monitoring and Performance

We may monitor usage, including without limitation, any content (including content usage levels by individual users) or material transmitted over the Service. We reserve the right (at our sole discretion) to monitor and control data volume.

In the event that your use of the Broadband Service

  • risks degradation of service levels to other customers,
  • puts our system at risk,
  • is not in keeping with that reasonably expected of a Lucky Voice customer,
  • is used for commercial use without a commercial subscription (on Lucky Voice Karaoke) and/or
  • does not comply with these Terms and Conditions (including the Acceptable Use Policy),

we reserve the right (at our sole discretion) to reduce, suspend or terminate your service.

Your use of our site means that you accept, and agree to abide by, all the policies in this acceptable use policy, which supplement our terms of website use.

luckyvoice.com and all associated subdomains is a site operated by Lucky Voice Soho Limited (we or us). We are registered in England and Wales.

Prohibited uses

You may use our site only for lawful purposes.

a) You may not use our site:

  • For commercial purposes without the appropriate commercial subscription.
  • In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
  • In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
  • For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way.
  • To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our content standards.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).
  • To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.

b) You also agree not to:

  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of our site in contravention of the provisions of our terms of website use.
  • Use our website or application or any interactive services for business purposes including the solicitation of business.
  • Resell access to our website or application.
  • Download user account information.
  • Frame our website or any part of it.
  • Copy any material obtained from our website or application to peer to peer networks or other web sites or web services.
  • Access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt:

(i) any part of our site;

(ii) any equipment or network on which our site is stored;

Interactive services
