Top 10 Songs To Hide How Drunk You Are

Posted on Fri Mar 04 2016 by nicola

We know, first hand, how it feels coming out of a karaoke bar feeling a bit “tipsy”. A couple of hours in the booth with our infamous Thirsty Button and you’ve lost all count of how many flutes of Prosecco you actually had. Singing with such sass is thirsty work, so it’s really not your fault at all. Besides, that damn button means ordering a new round whilst playing the next tune is wayyyyy too easy.

We totally get it, we really do. We’ve been there many a time when you realise just how drunk you are during a dash for the loo super quick to not miss the next karaoke anthem. Thankfully our dimly lit rooms won’t show that dodgy lipstick application you’ve just half-arsed in the mirror.

With a situation such as this, there is only one thing to do. Style it out. You need to accept your current disposition and crack on like the star that you are.  That being said, we wouldn’t advise you demand to sing ‘Run’ by Leona Lewis because chances are, that’s the exact affect it will have on your less-tipsy mates.

However, we do have our top 10 tried and tested songs that can mask the level of your intoxication. Once you’ve reached the point of no return, pick one of our fail-safe tracks below to avoid those “you were really bad last night” following morning text messages.

1. Oasis – Wonderwall

2. Outkast – Hey Ya!

3. Neil Diamond – Sweet Caroline

4. Taylor Swift – Shake It Off

5. Joan Jett & The Blackhearts – I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll

6. The Monkees – Daydream Believer

7. Wheatus – Teenage Dirtbag

8. Pulp – Common People

9. The Beatles – Yellow Submarine

10. Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe
