Whilst London Cocktail Week is in full swing, we thought it would be the perfect time to round-up our favourites places to grab a beverage or three. London can be quite the daunting city with copious bars, hotels, clubs and restaurants to navigate. We’re saving you the time and bother of finding out yourselves where is the best of the best places to visit. We’re just so nice like that.
1. Ham Yard Hotel You can’t get better than this. The decor is beautiful, it’s spacious and has plenty of different rooms to discover, all with their own theme and interior design. You can chill at the bar or recline into one of the sofas with your favourite tipple. They also have a karaoke room who like to sip a drink and sing too!
2. Lucky Voice If you’re Islington bound, the number one bar for cocktails is of course, Lucky Voice! Spacious, vibrant with a musically inspired cocktail list, you’ll be able to soak up the atmosphere and even pop into a booth to sing if that takes your fancy. If you’re not quite the karaoke lover, fear not, you can stay in our main bar until lights come on and the doors close.
3. Shoreditch House This may be a member’s only venue, but it’s worth every penny. One of the most prestigious bars and restaurants in the East, Shoreditch House is everything you’d expect from a converted warehouse and more. With it’s own pool, dining area, spa and bar, the cocktails match the beauty and style of the place.
4. Kensington Roof Gardens Various different bars? Check. Outside roof terrace? Check. Dining area? Check. Flamingos, fireworks and a bridge over troubled water? Check. This is one of the most beautifully crafted venues in London. If the bar has flamingos, real ones (we’re not kidding) then you can bet your bottom dollar the cocktails are as lovingly made as the birds are looked after.
5. Madison Champagne Bar A firm favourite with those who work in the city, Madison has one of the best views of London. St Paul’s Catherdral looms in the foreground as you sit on the terrace and catch up with friends over cocktails. If you’re not a cocktail kind of person, then delve into the champagne here. It’s delicious.
